to create temple table

Hi I want to create a temp table and i am doing it as follow

Create Table #t_i_ifh
(
code char(2),
description varchar(30),
short_description varchar(15),
parent_code varchar(6),
level_number int)

then i am inserting values in that table

which is Insert in tablename(fieldnames)
select '''''''''''''''''''''
union all select''''''''''''''''''



is this the right way as from this table i have to update the other table

can you please help

You can do it in the same way u mentioned

but when i run it it gives an error
