When HP does not list drivers on their site it is usually because the drivers are native in windows.
In other words windows has all the drivers built in already.
(Except in this case the modem.)

it doesnt install video and audio drivers
Did you install the latest service pack for your OS?
Did run windows update to update your windows drivers data base.
- Just because it's not on your OS's CD does not mean it isn't a windows driver.
- MANY windows drivers come out -after- the CD is made so you must update windows to have them.
If that doesn't work then find out what your video chip is and your sound chip is and go to those manufacturers for the standard drivers.

If you've got XP installed but only need the video and audio drivers, then do this:
Download this and run it: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
Note what it shows under Display - PCI/AGP Video and Display - GPU
and under Multimedia - PCI/PnP Audio
That should provide the info you need to find the drivers ... or just post the details here and we'll find them for you :-)

Or try this:
Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system information.
Click on "components" then "problem devices". Any hardware lacking drivers will be listed there. Make a note of the device and vendor numbers (DEV____ VEN____ in the first line of each entry) and look them up here:
http://www.pcidatabase.com/
Then try the manufacturer's website, or try a driver database like Driverguide:
http://www.driverguide.com/
Good luck!

... it seems that model has a recovery partition instead of recovery disks/drivers. If it will boot to Windows, you simply run the "HP Application Recovery" program [Start - Programs - HP Tools - and then HP Application Recovery] If it won't boot, there MAY be an option in the boot process to select the recovery partition => look CAREFULLY at the options at the very beginning of the boot process.
You COULD (and if it will still boot, still CAN) create a set of recovery discs from within the running system. The instructions are here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3195127&os=228&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN&docname=bph07143 Note that there is also an order form to order recovery CDs for your system if you did not create them (or have lost them).
