Hi,,

Am khanna, will be planning to develop a windows application product on c# that will be used to write a cd .

     * the key things followed in this product are listed below,,

--> While writing the cd using my software/product it must ask for a password .

---> If a user enters a password that password must be for the particular cd.

--->If any one wanna to use the cd they must have an option to read only.
we have to restrict them to copy, rewrite and overrite by the help of password.

--> If they enters the password of the cd they can able to access the restricted options.

This is my idea towards the product.

Any expert explains me the logical things (mean how to develop) i know c#.net ,asp.net
Is it a good idea to develop this product.

I'm not sure it's such a good idea. If you close the session on the CD, you can make it read-only, permanently. If you leave the session open, the user can just pick up Nero or Ahead or gtoaster or something to work around all of your copy-protection techniques.

Why do you want to build this, anyway ?
