hello,
is there a way to detect proxy traffic from my website?

Most web proxies will provide you with a HTTP header called X-Forwarded-For which gives you the originating IP address of the client.  You can read more about XFF HTTP header values by going to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XFF

There is also a proxy detection service that you can use from MaxMind (http://www.maxmind.com/app/proxy).
