GAL Won't update on Exchange Server 2000
Greetings all,
Recently, an EE was terminated, and we followed our standard procedure of disabling the account, hiding it from exchange address lists, resetting PW, etc. Well, 2 weeks later, we need to access the users calander, so we unhide it from exchange address lists, and enable the account. I'm using Outlook 2000 as my client, and it gets me nowhere. So I update the Remote Update Service, and try again, no luck. It's still not recognizing the EE's name, I get a message from Outlook saying the user can't be found. Also in ADSI Edit the attribute for ShowInAddressBook is "Not set". try re-applying the "hide from address book" and disable and re-enable the account, as well as try manually updating the RUS, no luck.
However, from within ESM, Under Recipients --> All Global Address Lists ---> Default GAL and then Preview, they show up in there.
Anyone have any suggestions? It's important I gain access to the calander and other items ASAP.
Thank you.
