Adding new user to Exchange 2003 via outlook

We have never had any issues adding a user to outlook 2003 via exchange.  Oddly enough, today we are trying to add a new user on an exchange account and it says the connect to exchange does not exist.  I can ping the server, i can do a nslookup on it.  all is well, every other user in the building has no issues... We can also connect to OWA and login via this new users account, we just can do anything for outlook 2003.  This is happening on 2 seperate users on two seperate machines, one laptop and one pc.


error msg is a msg just like i wasn't connected to a network. "the name could not be resolved. The connection to the exchange server is unavailible. outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.

please help!

Make sure you are logged into the PC with the users credentials.  If it fails, try logging in as a different user and setting up Outlook for that particular user.  If it works, check the account.  If it fails with a different user, check your DNS settings on the PC to make sure it is pointing to the correct location.
