install new exchange server and removing a pop connector
Hi all i have just installed a new and the first exchange server into an organization. previously there was a MS pop connector setup. next steop i have installed office 2003 onto a client pc, connected to the exchange server and configured no problems. when i go to send and receive, i get an error on the receiving mail part that an object cannot be found and does not receive the mail that the exchange server has waiting to pass on to me. Any suggestions would be great
How you have configured your outlook profile. have you chosen Microsoft Exchange Server and given the correct exchange server name? have you logged on with the user id that has access to the mailbox. Are you able to check whether the mail server could recognize your mailbox name when you click check name in outlook profile?
does the new mailbox show up in sys manager?
is the recipient policy correct?
