ISA 2004 show wrong source IP for outbound mail

simple problem (hope for simple solution...):
outbound mail show the company's main IP in the header
since some spam filters block mail if they can't resolve the source IP,
I must find a way to attach the correct mail.domain.com IP to the emails headers

didn't find an ISA solution but I did find a solution:
I changed the main IP on the WAN interface to mail.domain.com
quick & simple...

Absolutely. ISA would not affect this IP address unless you had NATted the IP address assigned to the MX record to the external IP address of the ISA server. Your change is the correct one.
