migrate contacts from one folder to another

Trying to bring my company contacts (stored in public folders) to my Contacts list.

Tried to export/import a .pst, but it only adds one contact, and I cannot find it.  (The number of contacts went up by one, but I don't find anything new.)

If it's in a public folder you have access to, you can select all of them and copy them to your contacts folder.

CTRL-A will select all.  Click the right mouse button and drag it to the contacts folder, and it will ask if you want to move or copy.  Select Copy.

The one copied already may not be visible if your display settings are different.  It may be tryingt o display it based on a field that is empty.

Verify that the public folder is a contacts type folder.

That created an additional folder under the Contacts folder.  I really need to move all the contacts into the Contacts folder.
