Lotus Notes Library Database

I am holding two local replicas of Lotus Notes databases, One of which is a Library and the other is a document repository. The document repositiry is configured in such a way that the contents can be viewed only through the links in the Library Database.

I would like to know the following
1. Is there any way in which the contents of the document repository can be viewed without going through the Library Database
2. Linking the replica id of the Document repository to the Library Database

Normally, when the DB is load, it would load the disigned FrameSet. And if your DB is document repository. The post-open script might give the warning that the DB is must be opened using another DB and it will close the DB. You could try the following step to open the DB:

1. Right-click mouse on the DB icon and select Database->Properties
2. Select the launch tab (the fifth tab from left).
3. Write down the name of the designed FrameSet, you will need this info when you want to restore the DB to be designed status.
4. Under, "when opened in the Notes client", select "Restore by last view by user"

then you could try open the DB using its views. But I think that using those views might be very inconvenience. But at lease, you could see something inside the DB.

To connect, the Library Database  to the document repository, the only way is you have to read the Library Database 's design to know how the DB is set. Because if the link from   Library Database  to the document repository is fixed then you might need to create the correct folder and put them into correct location.

Have funs and goodluck !!!

Thanks for the response, it says that I am not authorized to perform this operation.

Can you throw some more light on this please. Especially on the linkages between the Library and the Repository
