Hi,

I just moved my very first aspnet 2.0 application into production. Our setup is

IIS 6.0 in 5.0 Isolated mode. Application built and deployed on .Net 2.0 framework. Windows Server 2003. Older v1.1.4 applications are also running. All applications are accessed through PlumTree portal server. We use Imerpsonation by using the web config identity tag. We use a domian service account. We encrypt that account using aspnet_setreg utility provided by MS to encrypt and store it in the registry.

The application runs fine. There is high traffic on the application. Every few hours, ASPNET starts registering errors in the event log and we need to basically resstart IIS for the application to work.

The error is
The request has been aborted.

Does anyone know about what the Issue could be. I have just hit a wall with this Issue.

Thanks
Qudoos

Can you provide a full display of the event log entries?

thanks for the comments guys.

My problem is fixed and here is what I had to do.

I had to change IIS 6.0 from 5.0 isolated mode to application pools. I still got the problems, but this time I actually was able to see better message saying that there is a problem with the database pool. Due to connections not being available in the pool, my requests were being aborted based on timeout. I fixed is by specifying a bigger pool size for my connections.

thanks
