I have installed the cris cross compiler and the SDK for the axis 83+ developer board.
I created a sample c program as to print hello in home/user/apps/hello.
I ran the init_env file also.
Then i created a makefile and stored in the same folder where the hello.c resides.
Then i issued make cris-axis-linux-gnu in the root directory.
Then i changed to folder hello and issed the command make cris-axis-linux-gnu
the output of the above command was this
[mercy@linux hello]$ make cris-axis-linux-gnu
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/mercy/apps/hello'
rm -f hello *.o core
cp "/home/mercy/apps/hello/.tmp.target-makefrag" .target-makefrag
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mercy/apps/hello'
the final step is to issue make command.
the result was as below
[mercy@linux hello]$ make
HB?gcc-cris  -isystem /home/mercy/target/cris-axis-linux-gnu/include -mlinux
-Wall -Wshadow -O2 -g    -c -o hello.o hello.c
make: gcc-cris: Command not found
make: *** [hello.o] Error 127

so the obj file was not created..
plz tell me what wuld b the issue and the possible solution aslo..

where is gcc-cris?

Find it and put it somewhere in your PATH or use some absolute path to it.
