Design notes, why why why!

They have to be the most annoying function of DW. I have a CMS system and all my files match 100% because all the data is in the DB...so when I do a file compare it should be 100%...on the other hand I have all these _notes folders!!!

I turned off design notes in 'manage sites', but it just keeps coming back, I've deleted all the _notes folders...but back they come.

What is the PERMANENT solution to disable this option?

"Maintain synchronization information" in the Remote Info page of the Site must be unchecked in order to disable this function....

Please close, refund and PAQ!

Hi Phil,

Good find on that.  The "Maintain Design Notes" check box does nothing unless you also remove synch info.

Agreed on the annoying part...
