progress bar of applet loading
as we know large applets take some time to download and start in the browser.
if it possible to detect the current number of bytes downloaded and show a progress bar of something to the user so they don't think the page has hung or died?
if its not possible to detect number of bytes is there another way??

Ok, for me it is automaticly displayed in the browser.
Anyway it's not specific to Java, but rather with the browser that downloads.
