Apparently it shows the 2003 Shadow Copy items as 0k because Netbackup restore can't get that info from Windows. The files are there. I checked the logs and sure enough, the data is recorded. Kinda silly if you ask me.

I'm using Symantec Netbackup 5.1 MP5 to backup my OS on a Server 2003 system with exchange server 2003 installed as well. I do a separate Exchange backup and that is running fine. The issue I have is that the OS backup shows all the drives and directories backing up correctly but in the restore GUI I see the System State items under the Shadow Copy Components listed as 0k in size. I have used the all_local_drives directive as veritas recommends to get the system state backup.<br />

Netbackup Enterprise shows 0k size for system state backup items.
