Hello All,
Is there a way to create a shortcut icon on my windows desktop that can take me right to a notes new document for a particular form ???  If not how far out can I go from the database.  Possibly have a bookmark to this on the side of my notes.  Possible from my default email section.  I tried to have the form display in the create menu, however I have to be in that database or in the notes workspace to see the create for the new doc of that form.  when I go to my email section, the create list changes and I can't see the create new doc.
I hope this makes sense what I'm trying to do.  Trying to make it easier to create a new document for a particular form, without having to go into that database and then selecting a drop down to that doc type then it opens a newdoc create.
Thanks !
Paul

You might try with a Notes-URL...

See http:Q_21344176.html "Open a notes database from Internet Explorer"

ok... I've actually created a shortcut on my desktop and it works for the database but can't get down lower in the database.  Here is what I tried.

notes://AMER-AP12/Projects/estardb.nsf

This got me to the database.  Then I added the form like this:

notes://AMER-AP12/Projects/estardb.nsf + Jobrunreq?OpenForm

and I just get an error.
Any ideas ???  I think we're getting there.
Thanks !
