Believe me, this was NOT on my recommendation. I stay away from NAV as much as I can. I've also changed alot of my clients over to something else with much contentment.
ASKER
I have discovered the reason for this error message after looking thru NAV's website. It turns out that NAV 2k7 will not run on Win 2k. Only on XP. So no need to post any answers here. Thanks to all who read it. And I apologize for stumbling across the answer.
The reason this isn't going to work is... this is on a W2K Pro pc - apparently NAV 2k7 supports XP only

(Why can't Symantec write their software such that it checks for this and tells you it can't be installed?)
