Background thread FDoBuildCatalog halted on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store..."

The event log on my Exchange 2003 server is spammed with this event:

Event Type:      Error
Event Source:      MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store
Event Category:      General
Event ID:      7200
Date:            10-11-2006
Time:            01:33:00
User:            N/A
Computer:      <server name>
Description:
Background thread FDoBuildCatalog halted on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store <server name> 3" due to error code 0x80004005.

I cannot find any usable information regarding this error.

That is database or permissions error.
Have you got full text indexing turned on? If so, try turning it off.

If you have file level AV installed on the machine, make sure that it is not scanning any part of the Exchange directories.

Thanks for your quick response Simon, I will get back to you monday. I have now excluded the mail stores from the AV scanner.

This could also be DNS related.  When I switched the DNS configuration for my Exchange server, it threw a series of 7200 errors.  When I went back to the original config, the errors stopped.  Just a thought.
