I have a dead hard drive, i need to replace the pcb, the hard drive is a WD600BB-OOCAA1, is there another compatible to work with this drive long enough to retrieve the data

How do you know its the pcb? Do the platters spin? If not its the bearings. If they do then it might be the heads. If you dont know for sure, try this suggestion: put the drive in a brown paper bag and put in the freezer for about an hour. Remove and plug directly into your pc and see if it will spin up. We use this method a lot. When bearings seize the freezer can contract the metal in the bearings just enough to allow it to spin long enough for us to retrieve the data.
