Publishing FrontPage files
I usually work in Dreamweaver but have a site developed in FrontPage that needs some updating.
The remote server has Front Page extensions applied.
I understand that I need to update the site from within FrontPage not as I usually do from ws-ftp
I have found Remote Web Site Properties and can see where to place the http:// adress but cant see where to place the username or password
I expect I am missing something here.
Can someone please advise.
Many Thanks
John

Thanks
I am trying to use the remote web site properties to access the remote server.
After having put in the url I get a usernameand password message box appear.
I enter the details but it is not accepting the username or password so the box re appears.
This user name is accepted by ws-ftp and the server is running OK
The remote server indicates that FP extensions are installed.
Any ideas please?

sometimes you will need to put domain\username or username@domain.com in the userfield. Depends on how the hoster is setup.

Can you please say if there is a way of finding if any FrontPage components are used?
