I am trying to use the remote web site properties to access the remote server.<br />
<br />
After having put in the url I get a usernameand password message box appear.<br />
<br />
I enter the details but it is not accepting the username or password so the box re appears.<br />
<br />
This user name is accepted by ws-ftp and the server is running OK<br />
<br />
The remote server indicates that FP extensions are installed.<br />
<br />
Any ideas please?

sometimes you will need to put domain\username or username@domain.com in the userfield. Depends on how the hoster is setup.

I understand that I need to update the site from within FrontPage not as I usually do from ws-ftp<br />
