On a WinXP Pro system, I am seeing a message "The DrFTPD Slave service failed to start due to the following error:  The system cannot find the path specified.

EventID 7000

But I can not find where the launch of this is inititated.

Any advice?

In a google search of DrFTPD, I found this:

http://www.drftpd.org/index.php/DrFtpd_2.0_Install_Guide

Also this:

http://www.drftpd.org/index.php/FAQ

It seems to be a program meant for Linux operating system?  (Although one of the Frequently Asked Questions on the second link above says it will work in Windows.) How were you able to get this installed in your XP system?  Maybe the above page will lead you to the answer of your question...
