PIX's code 6.3 (5) upgrage to version 7.X ?

Is it recommended to upgrade from PIX's code 6.3 (5) to version 7.X ? and which version of 7 ? (i.e 7.1, 7.2,etc)

Because I have been asked at work to do security enhancement to the devices. the pix that we have got 525

With the PIX its more like, if its not broke, don't fix it... Upgrade only if you need the feature set in 7.x.

There are a few changes in 7.x that you might want to go over...

One of the main reasons we upgraded to 7.x was because of the ASDM... its SWEET!

You can't jump directly to 7.1 or 7.2 you first need to upgrade to 7.0 and then forwards...
