Registration Error

Hi
 I am getting this error at the start of windows:

STYLE XP:
The registration check failed because the system clock has been rolled back.

Please explain me how can I fix this.

Im not familiar with this error but i will try ti help you anyway i guess you have the style xp themes installed unistall and download the app again http://www.tgtsoft.com/download.php if you still get the same check the time and see if its current also check the time in your bios and make sure that is accurate if not then you need to replace your cmos battery.

It looks like the app as trigger the error.

don't know how to check in BIOS and How to change the battery. Please help

check the bios
reboot the pc and at the splash screen there should be an option to press F2 then it will enter set up you should see the time on one of the corners if time is accurate then skip this step and go to remove the app and reboot see if the issue goes away if you want to reinstall download style xp from the above and post back

I am unable to check the bios though I pressed on f2 key but it keep on going ahead with the loading. pls help. I think I need to change motherboard battery do u have any idea what kind of battery it uses and how can I do this.

before moving into the battery changing.... try the first solution install the style xp reboot if same error occurrs post back and give me the laptop model and number so we can find the manual for the right part and a manual for disasembling your unit.
