Line graph w/ date on the x-axis - not to scale

Hi Experts-

I'm hoping there's an easy way to resolve this...

I'm working in Crystal Reports 10 and have a line graph that charts values on the y-axis and dates on the x-axis.  The problem is that the x-axis is not displaying to scale - that is, if I have a value on Jan 19, another value on Feb 24, and another value on Dec 15, those three dates will appear on the x-axis spaced equally.

Is there a way to get Crystal to graph such that dates on the x-axis are properly spaced?  The only option I can think of right now is to add a table to my database that would hold all dates and include that, but it's not really practical.

Thanks for your assistance!

RightClick on the chart and in the options area..under the AXES tab you need to choose SHOW GROUP AXIS and SHOW TIME SCALE. This worked for  me.

I use CR XI, but see what your version has available.

Thanks for the help, Mike.  That works nicely.  I knew it had to be something simple.

For those using Crystal 10, this option is found by right-clicking on the chart, selecting Chart Options -> Grid, and then clicking on the Group Axis tab on the left.
