Hi,

Is it possible to set up a web site that will allow selected users to login and edit the site?

I want to allow a select community to edit a common document for later paper publication.

These will be entry level interenet folks,  so if its at all complicated it might be difficult to achieve.

The simplest way is probably to use a free existing service rather than trying to create your own.

Google offers a free service here that is probably easier to use and more comprehensive than one you could put together yourself:
