convert font files ttf to symbol file - *.smb

is it possible to convert font files - *.ttf  to symbol files - *.smb

I want to use the characters in a font file(A-Z, 0-9) - as a symbol.

In what software? I am not aware of any direct conversion tools. One program which uses the .smb format is Autodesk, and I believe they allow loading of TTF fonts as symbols. I don't know if it's a conversion to .smb, though. If it is, even if that's not the application you are using, you may be able to find someone who can make the conversion for you.

ya i am using autodesk

I dont knwo how to use ttf as symbols - I tried to specify but it just opens the font file, it does not allow me to select the symbol out of that font.

i found that there is 'symbol manager' in autodesk
