Is it Possible to setup Retention Policies on an Archive Folder?  

We are setting up our Exchange Users with Mailbox Size limits.  However in order to do this we will need to implement AutoArchive.  (I know what a PAIN)  we are looking at applying Group Policy to setup our Archive Settings on all client machines.  My question is... Does anyone know of a solution to setup a retention policy on the Archive Folder itself?  Our Document Retetion policy states we do not keep email older then 12 months.  Therefore we want to delete all items older then 12 months out of the users archive.  I know we can set this setting on each individual folder in the archive but it would be very nice to automate this setting.

Once the messages are out of the store, that is it - you have lost control over them.
There is no way to control the PST files.

If you only want to retain email for a certain time period your best bet would be to use a journaling product to capture all email as it flows through the server in an SQL database, then ban the use of PST folders and then use a mailbox manager policy to delete all email over a certain age.
