Hello Programmers,

I have question about GDI & Windows API.   Can someone recommend a book or reference material on how to
program a windows application using bitmaps.   I have a background in programming applications in windows using the
forms, but no experience in using GDI and bitmaps.  I want to create an application that loads as a graphic.  I want all the buttons to be bitmaps and all the controls to function through bitmaps.   I want to be able to put my mouse over a button and have it slide out with other options to click on.   I want this in windows, not for the web.  How to do this?
