blackberry - configure pim issues

I am unable to configure pim. When I do the following: run BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click on Intellisync, Configure PIM, Choose, MS Outlook....the Folder Name text box is grayed out and the browse button does not work. If I click "OK" anyway, I get the following error message: "The file or database name associated with MS Outlook is missing, invalid, or points to a file of zero length."

I was instructed to NOT create a new profile (as other solutions have suggested) and was wondering if there is another way to do this? I set it to use the exact same profile that I use in Outlook (exchange server) and it doesn't see it within Blackberry Desktop Redirector or Desktop Manager.

Hmmm... for your sake I'd create ANOTHER profile to see if you COULD point the BlackBerry there. If it works talk to whoever told you not to do it and explain to them that creating the new profile is the solution. Another possiblitiy is that you need to uninstall / reinstall the the BlackBerry application and make sure the Exchange option is selected.
