Mandatory Subject Line

Dear Expert,

I want to prevent people from sending out an email with no subject lines. Is there an option in Outlook 2003 to enable mandatory subject lines?

Thanks,

I only know of a macro that you can use in Outlook to prevent yourself accidentally sending email with no subject:

This is probably not suitable for you for at least 2 reasons:
1) You would have to make this change on every PC
2) Staff could disable it if they wanted to

Hopefully someone else will be able to assist with an easier/all-round solution.

Hmm, an intereting solution.

I think you have highlighted 2 very important things here. Going around to every user to make changes, and only to find out a week later that staff have disabled it, will render my efforts futile.

Looks like there isn't an easy way of doing this. I'm going to do some searching on google in the meantime and someone might have an answer by then.

Thanks for your help.

I think this will suffice for now.

Thanks very much. It's a very elegant solution. It would be nice if users cannot press ALT-F11 or access the code.
