Hi

Looking for a simple membership program that will limit a paypal paying website guest to 1 or 2 hours to view a web page after paying for it via paypal (or similar transaction service).

This one looks good, but their pre-sales tech support says their system works via days/months, etc.  Not hours.

Does anyone know of another php based software that'll do it?

Do you have any PHP experience? This is not a hard solution to write. A freelancer should be able to whip one up for you in no time.
The general steps would be writing the time paid into the database. You could have an "Activate 2 hours" link and query paypal to make sure they have paid, then write the time they start into the database.

Have each page compare the current time with 2 hours from the time they start their 2 hours. Once that time is exceeded, disable access.

That should clarify if you decide to have someone write your own.

Hi Stormist,

If you can do this please contact me offline.  I will run the cost past my client.  You will find my contact info at http://www.rowby.com/  (click on contact Rowby link)

I found something off the shelf that's pretty close to what my client wants, but it's not exactly what the client wants.

Right now I must confess my plate is pretty full. There are many on-line sites though for this type of work:
http://www.phpkitchen.com/index.php?/archives/670-PHP-Freelance.html

that site lists many many links. Those sites are also pretty cheap because of all the competition from Indian programmers that are highly competent and work for almost nothing. Hope this helps!
