paste in the contents of a txt file

Hi.  Is there a way with the click of a button, paste in the contents of a txt file into an input field that is stored in the same directory as the dwf?

Hi COwebmaster.

Absolutely you can. It's not exactly simple, but it can be done:

my_btn.onRelease = function() {
    var my_lv:LoadVars = new LoadVars();

    my_lv.onLoad = function(success:Boolean) {
        my_txt.text = my_lv;
    }

    my_lv.load("<some_file>.txt");
}
...

This may look simple, but it actually a cheap hack. :-)
