slide show generator

would you guys know of any opensorce projects which creates a slidesshow. I have images name in a database so what I need is that if i pass the names, titles etc to this application it generates a slide show

I actually need it for a website. This seems to me a standalone application.

You could develop something based on Eric Meyers S5

It feels like power point in a browser. You need user intervention to move between pages so it may not have the slideshow effect you want. It responds to page-up and page-down ketc keys like power point.

It uses div for each "page" in the slideshow. If you programmtically build the page inserting you images between the div's you would get the effect you want:

hmmm... re-read the question. You will need to pull out the images from the database to be able to use my suggestion.

Maybe you could use an ASP (or alternative) in a page based on the CSS and sample I mentioned to read the images from the database.
