Modify Outlook (2000-2003) mail profile via code

Hi All,

I need to modify several dozen outlook mail profiles.  i only need to change one option - check the box 'Leave copy of message on server'

how can i do this?  is it a registry entry or in an ini file?
i'd prefer not to have to sit down at each machine and do this.

any suggestions?

Hmm - looks like if you can identify the profile, you may be able to do it simply by adding to the registry.

Look in
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook\<ProfileString>
Data: Leave On Server
Value: 655361

at least during my test it was...

Check that key and see what options are available for you under Outlook...

already got the program written, just gotta add it to the login script!

Glad to hear it.
Out of curiosity - how are you going to grab the profile info?  Or is it the same for each user?
Seemed a bit cryptic to me, but I couldn't find a way to relate it to anything significant (as with a SID)...
