Restarting a Windows Service quickly

Hi All,
I have a Windows Service that runs a proprietary server manager for  software that my client uses.  About once a week, the service fails.  We have set the service to automatically restart.  This solves the problem.  My issue is that I can only set the service to restart after 1 minute.  I want to be able to have the service Immediately restart after 3 seconds.  Is there a registry change that I can make for this service to restart faster than the 1 minute allowed by the Windows Service GUI?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Instead of restarting the service as a choice use the Run Program instead. Right a script that will restart the service from the script.

That might work....  But I would rather do it with a registry edit if possible.  Any Ideas?

I don't know of any off hand. It would be particular to the service that you are trying to do it with for sure.
