hi experts,
I have completed my asp.net web application using vb.net which prints a document at the client side.  It's working fine, but the problem whenver i give the print command by default it prints the header ie the name of my asp.net form & footer, the whole querystring that appears in the address bar.  I don't want these things, How to avoid this?

plz help

This would work,

But Keep in mind that this will work on all the webpages that the user is browesing.. and it's a USER specific ... because there's no client script (that i know about of course) that would dynamically disable the display of header and footers..

but if your application is imporant and is Sql Server Database driven.. you should consider incorporating a reporting tool.. such as Sql Server Reporting services or other nice reporting tools/controls that would allow the prinitng to be more smooth and you can even export your documents to excel, html, pdf.. etc

That's my opinion,

Cheers,
SC
