I would like to change the default file type to jpeg when somebody hits save in MSPaint. I know there are better programs available but while we ween the last of the users of it onto Paint.net and fireworks etc I would like this default.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

Greetings, FhMoTa !

MSPaint is a very basic graphic editor. There is no setting native to MSPaint where you can set the default file format in save dialogue to JPEG.  You can change the setting manually each time.

Best wishes!
