Adobe ACrobat Professional - adding graphics to the header and footer

Good morning,

Is there a way to add graphics as the header and footer on every page of a pdf document using Adobe Acrobat Professional?

Thanks in advance.

The same graphic on every page? You could use teh Watermark/Background feature and provide the header/footer as the PDF page that will be used as background/watermark.
If that's not sufficient, you could place form fields with the graphics on every page - either manually, or automated with a JavaScript program.

Hi,

I tried that but there is no option for footer.   Also, I need to shift all of the text down since it is position of where the graphic needs to be is too high.   It may be better then for me to just use Microsoft word and then convert to PDF.  What do you think?

Yes, if it's the same on every page, just use a program that can create a page with the object in the right spot, then convert the document to PDF and use the Watermark/Background feature to bring the page into your PDF document. You can find this function as "Document>Add Watermark & Background" in Acrobat 7. They split out the two functions into different menu items in Acrobat 8.
