PHP Based Web Statistics

I'm looking for an open source web statistics program, written in PHP that reads the apache logs to build stats (specifically access.log, but may include others).  Searching, I haven't been able to find an obvious solution.

I want to integrate it pretty fully with some software I have already developed.  AWStats is perl based.
