Far Cry Editor - how to import an Autocad Model into FAR cry editor

I have found a way to paste bitmaps into the FAR cry Editor. By pasting the JPEG files into the FAR CRY Editor folder,  I can edit the diffuse texture on an object and paste my own pictures there.  The problem is I have created in Autocad a 3D model of a building using pictures from a digital camera. I want to convert it into a grp object or model and import it into the FAR Cry game editor. It s a model of a Pre-Fab building,  basically a rectangular box with a sloped roof.  Any ideas??

I tried using MAYA  ,  but I find its dificult to use,    my version of 3D studio is not working.   I can send you the Autocad model by mail attachment if you want to try and convert it for me.

MAYA is the right route, the latest version has an import feature for DWG files, otherwise you'll need to port the DXF into MAYA and then CryEngine will automatically import the rendered Maya file.  (I think CryEngine also supports 3DS).

Might also be worth posting a pointer question here:
