I had a problem way back in R4 that was caused by receiving email that had fonts that were not loaded on that computer. &nbsp;If you determine what font it is, then see if that font is loaded on your computer, if not then see if the sender can use a different font or if you can load that font onto the computer. &nbsp;This is a very old problem so maybe it is something else but that is my best first guess.

Adding to Sjef's comment what version of the mail template is the user running, using iNotes is also complicated by the version of browser that you are using and character set. &nbsp;

Lotus Software produced the Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program, and later developed Lotus Notes, a groupware and email system. Following its acquisition by IBM, the Notes and Domino client/server collaborative platform were expanded to include functions such as email, calendars, to-do lists, contacts management, teamrooms, discussion forums, file sharing, microblogging, instant messaging, blogs, and user directories. IBM also release SmartSuite, a comprehensive office suite, and followed that with Symphony, unrelated to the Lotus suite of the same name.
