Ok I have a HP Workstation which is very recently brought. I have a network of 5 pcs and a HP 440 Plotter conntected to the network via a print server device. I can fire print from all other pcs except the HP workstation. When I give the print command the spooler is shown in the taksbar for 2 / 3 sec and then a messages come that print jobs are cancelled and I cannot print. This happnes with this workstation only so problem lies with this perticular machine that's sure since I can print from all other pcs without any problems.

Pl. guide me.
Thanks in advance.

Does the event viewer give any clues? Rright-click on My Computer, select Manage, open up Event Viewer and click on System.

See if it has any messages about printing problems. If problems are listed, double-clicking on them gives more information.

Sorry all, I just resolved the issue by myself. The spooler directory is corrupt. I've changed the spooler dir to another one and that has resolved the issue . So please consider this question as close.
