I have 5 computer that can not print from the crystal report inside of data-tel xSELLerator:http://www.datatel-info.com/
can send job to printer and print but it comes out with wierd chacterers can read the doc. From any microsoft office app or any other program can print to same printer and it comes out fine.
I have uninstalled the printer and drivers from the computer reinstalled still didn't work, tried different drivers didn't work. Seems like a driver issue. From xsellerator can print to a different print and it comes out fine. We are using windows 2000 PC's.

Did you physically remove the drivers, or just delete the printer?

Printers and Faxes>File>Server Properties>Drivers>Remove

Might need to restart after deleting a printer, or at lease stop the spooler service to be able to remove a recently used driver.....

Printers and Faxes>File>Server Properties>Drivers>Remove, will not let me delete, the specified printer driver is in use...does that mean the driver is being used with a different printer we have serveral kyocera printers..

Start>Run>cmd.exe

net stop spooler

net start spooler

Then see if you can remove it....

It just means it is cached and in memory, not necessarily in use....
