SBS Installed licenses v maximum usage

Does anyone know why after installing and extra 10 user cals in sbs2003 the installed licenses says 15 (as it should) and the maximum usage says 2!!!!!!
The maximum usage seems to change every day to a new number, this is the lowest its been but when we had just the default 5 user cals installed, it did say maximum usage 21 at one point!
What is going on??????

Maxiumum usage is how many have been used, so only 2 users have been concurrently logged onto that server at any time.

oh that makes sense, doh!
do you know why sbs lets more than the number of installed licenses connect to it?

Not sure on this one, It may be that once a licence is assigned to device, and lets say that device is replaced or upgraded it takes so many (cant remember how long) to return to the licence pool, it may be allowing another machine to log on before that licence has been returned.

But im only guessing, it should come up in your event logs if it is exceeding licences also.
