How many Mailbox Stores can I have in a Storage Group?

Hi, I have probably a simple question, but I am thinking about organizing my Exchange Server Stores better.

I am thinking of adding a Mailbox Store to my Storage Group.

Currently, I have:

"Faculty Mailbox Store"
"Staff Mailbox Store"

and thinking about "Alumni Mailbox Store."

So, that leads me to my question.  I am thinking I heard that you can have up to 5 Mailbox Stores per Storage Group.  Is this correct?

Also, how much of a performance hit would I see by adding an additional Mailbox Store?

you can have uo to 4 storage groups and 5 mailbox stores per group in ex 2003
increasing the no of mailbox stores is better for performance as well as recovery

Thank you.  I have Exchange 2003.  Is there any specifics I should do before adding another mailbox store?

none as far as i know of anyway-its a fairly simple proccess-you can move users from the old store over to the new one
