Hi all,
I'm currently looking at upgrading my card, and need some advise on performance. These are the cards i'm interested in:

6800XT 256 MB DDR3 AGP New 6800 GT
geforce 6200 512 DDR AGP 8x

1st card seems a better chip 6800 but less memory. Which is more important memory or geforce chip version?

Cheers

What are you wanting to do with this card?

Hi, sorry it's for running the latest games. I'm running a XP 2200+ 1GB DDR2, but the card is only 128MB and not really cutting it!

Cheers

I would go with the better chip then. It will be able to handle things better then the old chip. More RAM helps but not if the chip can't process what you want it too.
