Merge Replication SQl2000

Am trying to drop a table called 'tb_useractivitylog' on my database using the below script
Error :

Server: Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_droparticle, Line 81
Invalid object name 'syspublications'.

please help

exec sp_droparticle @publication = 'MotivanoUKLiveCoreReplication'
, @article = 'tb_useractivitylog'

Better to use the Following:

Drop Table tb_useractivitylog

i don t want to drop the table from database , just to drop it from merge replication articles

Cannot drop the table 'tb_useractivitylog' because it is being used for replication.
