Greetings:

I know somebody else recently posted a question similar but for the life of me, I cannot find it.

I'm trying to find the owner of an appointment item posted to a calendar, and posted at the previous question was a super little code bit that provided that information.

Can you help me find it?  Or post the code bit again?

Thanks!!

Hi, Karyl.

I've posted more than one version of a macro that does this, some that itterate all the items in a folder others that show the information for a selected item.  This one does the latter.

Sub ShowMeetingInfo()
    Dim olkAppointment As Outlook.AppointmentItem
    Set olkAppointment = Application.ActiveExplorer.Selection(1)
    MsgBox "This meeting was created by " & olkAppointment.Organizer & " at " & olkAppointment.CreationTime, vbInformation + vbOKOnly
    Set olkAppointment = Nothing
End Sub

Cheers!
