I installed the default SharePoint MSDE onto the C:\ drive.
So when I upgraded the MSDE to MS SQL Server 2000 SP4 it also was on the C:\ drive.

It was my intent to have the SharePoint DB's on the D: partition where I have a lot more space.
There is no data at all in the SharePoint DB's

Q? - How do I reinstall the SharePoint DB's onto the D: partition?

Please see http://sbsurl.com/movedata for how to move this and any of your data files to another partition.
