Address List Problem

I have recently redone a client machine and tried to copy the .pst file to the new machine.  Everything seems to work fine except the contacts.  When they click on the Contacts tab all their contacts are there but when they go to compose a new email message and hit the to button

They get the following error.

"The address list could not be displayed.  The contacts folder associated with this list could not be opened.  It may have been moved or deleted."

I have a back up of their old PST File.  How do I correct this?
